But apart from the idyllic setting this is a genuine working finca, an established avocado plantation of some 400 trees, at their most productive at the age of 20-25 years and currently producing between 20.000 € to 30.000€ per year (although we are told that the finca could be farmed much more efficiently). Water is in plentiful supply here. The finca comes with a share of La Paloma private water supply, plus an (unused) well, a deposit for rainwater, and a 600,000 litre deposito. In addition, the plot descends to the bottom of the hillside to a free-flowing river which feeds a further 400,000 litre water tank from where the water is pumped to the house. There is also a supply of town water to the property. A good drivable private track leads all the way to the bottom of the plot with no right of way for any other vehicles. These large fincas do not appear for sale very often and this is a rare and wonderful opportunity to get in tune with nature and take advantage of the natural elements abundant on this plot and work in harmony with the environment in this truly impressive area of the Andalusian countryside. |
