Spanish villas in many different shapes are to be found in and around the countryside and white villages of Andalucia. Mostly these country properties were built within the last 15-20 years. The style and design varies but one common thing is that the rooms are nearly always bigger than you will see on a rustic farmhouse. Some have been built to give the visitor a feeling of entering an old country house while others has been designed using modern architectural lines and features.
Some Spanish villas will have underfloor heating, air-conditioning, double glazed windows and other kinds of modern installations. Others will be very basic country homes where one has tried to limit any sign of modern-day living.
